What is the Roadmap to Generosity?

Every year, Wilmington Church of Christ seeks to walk together on a journey of generosity. The Roadmap to Generosity is our guide for the year ahead, laying out opportunities to give sacrificially—above and beyond our regular offerings—to make an eternal impact for the kingdom. Each month brings a new chance to partner with God’s work in our community and beyond, expressing our gratitude through generous giving.

Your Roadmap for 2026

As you journey through this Roadmap to Generosity, take time to pray and ask God where He is calling you to give. Allow God to shape your generosity so each gift becomes a part of His work in the world.

August 2 - 30 | Released Time

August 2 - 30 | Released Time

During the school year our church helps teach public school students during Released Time Bible Education. When the middle school students leave school they receive lunch and Bible education. This is our way of helping to provide lunch. During Sundays in August, we are collecting funds to provide lunch for the middle school students during Released Time.

October 4-25 | Global Mission

October 4-25 | Global Mission

Our Mission Team has selected AIM (Agape International Missions: Fighting Sex Trafficking since 2005) for sacrificial giving during the month of October. We will collect offerings with the goal of $2000. These funds will aid in the rescue of victims of human trafficking.

Nov. 29, Dec. 5 | Blessing Store

Nov. 29, Dec. 5 | Blessing Store

At the beginning of December our church hosts a Blessing Store! We tell customers, “Give what you can, take what you need.” This is a way for us to give back to our community and help someone have a Christmas they otherwise wouldn’t have. We ask church members to drop off “good to great” items on Sunday, Nov 29, and the Blessing Store is Saturday, Dec 5.

Dec. 3, Dec. 20 | Christmas Baskets

Dec. 3, Dec. 20 | Christmas Baskets

Every year we have families in our church and in our community that need a “Christmas Pick-me-up.” Providing food for a family is a great way to share the love of Christ during this season. On December 13, we will pass out the empty Christmas baskets and grocery lists and then our church fills them and brings them back and delivers them on Dec 20.
