Young at Heart: Voice of America Museum

The Young at Heart group is off on another fun adventure! Join us for a trip to the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Located at the historic Bethany Relay Station, the museum shares the story of how Voice of America broadcasting helped connect the world during times of war and peace. You will explore fascinating exhibits on radio history, broadcasting technology, and the role this site played in sending messages of freedom and truth across the globe.

If you would like to go along, be sure to sign up at the Connection Hub in the atrium and check the sign up sheet for departure details. It will be a great day of learning, conversation, and enjoying time together!

Important Info for All Events:

  • Sign-up sheets for each event will be available at The Hub, along with additional details such as meeting locations, what to bring, and event times.

  • Checks only for any payments—this helps with accurate and simple record-keeping for all involved.

  • There is a limit of 14 bus seats available per event. The first 14 people to register will be guaranteed a seat on the church bus. After that, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation—check with a committee member for availability or carpool options.

  • On each bus trip, we’ll pass a donation basket to help with transportation costs. Please consider dropping in a dollar or two to support the ministry.
