What is the Roadmap to Generosity?

Every year, Wilmington Church of Christ seeks to walk together on a journey of generosity. The Roadmap to Generosity is our guide for the year ahead, laying out opportunities to give sacrificially—above and beyond our regular offerings—to make an eternal impact for the kingdom. Each month brings a new chance to partner with God’s work in our community and beyond, expressing our gratitude through generous giving.

Your Roadmap for 2026

As you journey through this Roadmap to Generosity, take time to pray and ask God where He is calling you to give. Allow God to shape your generosity so each gift becomes a part of His work in the world.

January 18 – February 8 | New Life Clinic

We begin the year by celebrating Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on January 18 and supporting the mission of New Life Clinic through their Baby Bottle Fundraiser. Pick up a baby bottle at church, fill it with loose change (or not-so-loose change), and bring it back as a simple yet powerful way to stand for life and support mothers, babies, and families in our community. Every coin represents hope and every bottle reflects the love of God for the value of life.

March 15 – April 5 | CIY Giving Board

Next, we invest in the next generation through our CIY Giving Board. Each year, students from WCC attend the Christ in Youth conferences—MIX for middle school and MOVE for high school—where they experience life-changing moments with God. The cost is around $400 per student, and through this giving initiative, we help make those experiences possible. Every gift is divided equally among students, reminding them that their church family believes in them and is helping them grow in faith.

May 3 – May 31 | Butler Springs Christian Camp

For over 70 years, WCC has partnered with Butler Springs Christian Camp, where thousands of young people have encountered Jesus and made decisions that changed their lives forever. While registration fees cover much of the cost, the camp relies on churches to help with essentials like cereal, juice, and cleaning supplies. This May, we’ll be collecting one of these practical items (to be announced soon) as our tangible way of supporting the next generation of campers. Bring your donation to the church throughout the month and join us in fueling another summer of transformation.

June 1 – 5 | Vacation Bible School Mission Project

Each year during Vacation Bible School, our children participate in a hands-on mission project, collecting items for a chosen organization that makes a difference in people’s lives. It’s more than just giving—it’s teaching the next generation to live generously. This is your child’s opportunity to see how small acts of kindness can ripple outward and show the love of Jesus in real and practical ways.
