June 18 – Great Council State Park & Lunch at Nic’s Restaurant (Xenia)
We’ll dive into Ohio’s rich Native American history with a guided experience at the newly opened Great Council State Park Museum in Xenia. This interactive museum honors the Shawnee people and brings their heritage to life in a thoughtful and educational way. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch together at Nic’s Restaurant—known for its welcoming atmosphere and hearty American fare. This trip combines learning, beauty, and fellowship all in one.
Important Info for All Events:
- Sign-up sheets for each event will be available at The Hub, along with additional details such as meeting locations, what to bring, and event times.
- Checks only for any payments—this helps with accurate and simple record-keeping for all involved.
- There is a limit of 14 bus seats available per event. The first 14 people to register will be guaranteed a seat on the church bus. After that, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation—check with a committee member for availability or carpool options.
