Corporate worship encompasses our communion with God together with other believers. Several elements are involved in worship including music, message, prayer, and the taking of Communion. But worship also begins with individual preparation of the heart, and devotions to foster this preparation are provided here.

Worship Principles:

1. There is no substitute for time spent with God.

2. Worship takes place not in the sanctuary, but in the heart.

3. Corporate worship grows out of individual worship.

Worship Practices:

1. Choose a daily place and time where you can be alone with God.

2. Monitor your progress by filling out the time chart.

1. Spend time daily in prayer, study and praise

2. Prepare for corporate worship by worshiping privately

Worship Ministry

Contact Keith Dimbath with any questions about the following groups.

· Adult Choir –WCC has a choir, which sings for worship services and performs seasonal musicals. New members are welcome any time. We currently rehearse on Sundays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays from 7-8:00 p.m. from August through May. Children's programming is offered at these same times.

· Worship Teams –Small groups rotate leading the congregation in musical praise, serving one month per quarter. Membership by interview.

· Rhythm Section –We're always looking for guitarists, percussionists, and keyboardists to assist in the musical foundations for worship.

· Technical Ministry Team –Trained operators run sound, lights, and projection for morning worship services.
