Luke 2:52 says, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.  252 is built around 3 basic truths that we believe kids should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.

• I Need to Make Wish Choices
• I Can Trust God No Matter What
• I Should Treat Others the Way I want to be Treated.

Each month children are taught a new virtue that demonstrates these three truths.  Each virtue reflects a quality of God’s nature that He instills in His followers.   The virtues for 2010-2011 are:  respect, initiative, uniqueness, determination, joy, courage, humility, forgiveness, faith and more.  Each Sunday morning kids take home a God Time car and a refrigerator door card.   The refrigerator door cards inform parents of what their children were taught during Sunday morning.  The God time cards are a 4-day devotional for kids to do with their parents to help reinforce the virtue each month.

Each Sunday we provide graded classes where children can learn truths from God’s Word on their learning level.

Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship (grades 1-5) meets in Room C101 (Chapel) at 10:30 where kids sing, worship, participate in communion and offering and hear a Bible drama, enjoy games, and a small group time.  Each month a different virtue is talked about and applied through Bible learning, small group time, and the worship.

Sunday Nights (except summer months)

6:30 p.m.

Joyful Noise Choir (1st through 5th grades)

Elementary aged children have the opportunity to participate in Joyful Noise Choir. The choir works on songs to present as special music in our Sunday morning worship services as well as a Spring musical.
