Administration Team Ministries
Purpose
To provide the framework for planning, coordinating, and leading activities that will enhance the pastoral and support ministries of the congregation. It will provide the opportunity for individuals to serve needs in a manner that both pleases and glorifies God.
Team Functions
It is the responsibility of the Administration Team Ministry to set goals, develop plans, and lead people to use their administrative and office management skills. Members of this ministry will explore ideas, human resources, and material in seeking to expand the administrative needs of the church. The ministry teams will work closely with office staff to produce a cooperative framework for success. The Administration Team Ministry will prepare and submit fiscal requirements, projections, and dreams to the Financial Ministry for consideration and inclusion, as appropriate, in the church budget.
1. Pastoral: coordinates and recruits the personnel to provide assistance to
individuals who are bereaved, hospitalized, and home-bound.
2. Office Support: trains and maintains a list of volunteers who assist with office
functions and ministries.
3. Publicity/Communications: coordinates and promotes special activities during the
calendar year (New Years Cruise, Ministry Expo, etc.).
4. Fellowship: responsible for recruitment of all personnel who assist in meal
preparation for special events.
